To connect Camden County Library Online Catalog perform the following steps:

  1. Click on Internet Explorer

  2. Click on Technology Link

  3. Perform Step1

  4. Perform Step2

  5. Perform Step 3

  6. Type librarylink for the username

  7. Press Enter 3 times

or type the following URL if you can't access RWK Homepage: 

http://www.camden.lib.nj.us/

  1. Find Most Requested

  2. Click on Our Catalog

  3. Find "to connect to our catalog" (using telent). Click on Click Here

  4. Type librarylink for the username

  5. Press Enter 3 times

Activity:

  1. Author is highlighted in the upper left. Press  Enter. Type in Rowling. Press Enter. How many titles are there by J. K. Rowling?

  2. Press the number 1 and read all the J. K. Rowling books. Press CTRL+N to read all the listings. Type CTRL+P to get back to the beginning of the list. Press the number 2 to find out how many sound recordings there are of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. How many are available?

  3. Press CRTL+N to find other libraries with the recording.( You may have to do it more than once!) Write down one other Library in the area that has the recording.

  4. Press Enter to go back. Arrow down to Subject. Press Enter. Type in Clemente. Press Enter. Search list for Clemente, Roberto. Press CTRL+N for more listings.

  5. Choose Clemente, Roberto, 1934-1972 -- Juvenile Literature by typing in the number                     .

  6. Choose Walker, Paul Robert. Pride of Puerto Rico: the life of Roberto Clemente by typing in the number                      .

  7. What is the call number of this book?

  8. Is it available?

  9. Repeat Step 4 for new topic. Find a book on your research topic. Write down the Author, Title, and Call Number.

  10. To quit, disconnect from the online catalog. Click on Connect pull-down menu. click on Disconnect. X out of the Telnet Window. X out of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
