"Mix it Up Day" Kershaw School November 15, 2006

 Peer Mediators and Student Council are organizing “Mix It Up” Day
for Tuesday, November 15.

During lunch, students will randomly be assigned to sit at tables,
not necessarily with their friends. 

 Some good reasons to “Mix It Up”

     70% of students named the cafeteria as the place where social boundaries are
most clearly drawn at school.

    A majority of students described their schools as “quick to put people in categories.”

     Mix It Up at Lunch Day encourages students to cross lines and meet new people.

     You want to make a difference and meet someone new.
