4th Grade Assembly
Lenape Lifeways

John Kraft, an archaeologist and director of
Lenape Lifeways, Inc., showed a slide
presentation detailing 12,000 years of our region's
prehistory and Native American Heritage.

His program focused on Lenape legends, art,
religious beliefs, customs, and traditions.

Mr. Kraft explained how they obtained food,
clothing, and tools.

The students were given a hands-on experience
with the many artifacts that he brought with him.
