Battle of the Books
is a book club for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at RWK School.
We will be meeting after school on selected Tuesdays in
Mrs. Leon's Room - grade 7 and 8
and
Mrs. Mosebrook's Room - grade 5 and 6
from 3:00 to 3:45PM.

The dates for '09-'10 are Tuesdays:
October 6 - Pick up permission slips and find out about this club!
October 13 - Turn in permission slips and get your first book!

April 13 - only grades 5 and 6 meet because of 7th grade field trip.
                          

*Competition information will be available when dates and places are confirmed.
Additional practices may be needed.

In past years during late April or May, we competed against other schools and celebrated our year of reading!
Each school is allowed up to two teams per grade unit (5/6, 7/8). 
The top participants in our club would represent our school. 
We evaluate team members by attendance, teamwork, paperwork completed, number of books read, and SRC tests passed.
