This year Mrs. Antunes 4th Grade class decided to put their money into a worthwhile cause, instead of the traditional Pollyanna.  Mrs. Meloni informed the class about the K-9 unit's need for new first aid kits.  The students immediately decided that their holiday project would be raising money for the unit.  They had a bake sale and received donations.  The class raised $200 and invited the police department to Mary Bray on Dec. 13.  The school enjoyed a demonstration with Scotty and Marco, the unit's German Shepherds, and the police department was presented with a check.
