Dear Parents,
February will probably bring us a
blast of cold weather! Continue to listen to KYW 1060 (school closing
number 591), or watch channels 3-6-10 for school information on inclement
weather days.
Make sure your children know where to go on a day when school might have to
close while school is in session. We ask that your students arrive to
school on time.
As always, thank you for your cooperation and interest in our schools.
Reminders:
If your child is displaying
symptoms of illness prior to leaving for school in the morning please keep
them home.
Please be aware that vacations
taken during the school year interrupt the continuity of instruction.
Please remember to bring photo
identification when coming to pick-up a student. Please be sure to
notify the school office if there has been any change to your emergency
contact list. We can only release students to those individuals
listed.
Remember to follow traffic and
parking regulations when dropping off and picking up your children.
Please call the school by 9AM
should your child not be attending school. (see below for numbers)
Messages can be left on voicemail.
If your child is absent and you
would like to pick up work please notify the office, this way arrangements
can be made with the teacher to have work ready by 3PM to be picked up in
the office.
Should you have a child who will
be 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2012 they are eligible to be
registered for Kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year. If you have
not contacted the school about registration, please do so. (Mary Bray
School 931-7807/7855) Also, if you are aware of another child in the
neighborhood we'd appreciate it if you'd have the parent contact the school.
Registration is scheduled for Wed., Feb. 22 and Thurs., Feb. 23 in the Mary
Bray Media Center.
